Really superb article! How can one obtain pyridoxamine in the US (in 2024)? The FDA appears to have recategorized it as a drug. Are there reliable (and affordable) bulk powder suppliers outside the US?
Thanks. I'm not sure how to obtain it in the US. It looks like there was some petitioning to revoke its classification as a drug to allow it to be sold as a supplement. That doesn't seem to have been successful yet.
Thank you for pointing out that European vendor! Their product also contains acacia gum, which I cannot metabolize and hence is toxic for me. Their product is also pretty spendy for a humble B vitamin. There are a few Chinese and Indian vendors to consider.
It's unfortunate that you can't metabolize acacia gum, and yes, their product is very pricey for a B vitamin. I don't know how reliable the Chinese and Indian vendors are. I haven't looked into that.

I don't recall seeing pyridoxamine for sale anywhere in the US but it is available in Europe from this vendor:
